Hail Apple Inc. Hail the iPhone.

After months of speculation, its here. Apple has officially released its iPhone. This lovely device is a mobile geeks dream. Awesome, sleek design and very user friendly, just like the iPod. I came to know when I read the ‘theINQUIRER.net‘ feed. Here’s a rundown of whats on the article.

Introductory prices are as follows:

4GB flash-based storage: US$499

8GB flash-based storage: US$599

Geeks in the US can expect this “revolutionary device” [If I may say so] around June ’07. Alas, the lads in Europe may have to wait until the end of the year; hopefully not. And what about us, the people of Fiji? Well, for us, its somewhere in the not so distant future.

Many, many industry analysts have speculated on what Apple would eventually produce to push into the crowded mobile phone market. The final product might possibly be the most perfect culmination of all the speculation, desires, and needs of every Apple fan and Apple speculator over the last several years. µ
